Route markers

I had the idea of marking out the route of the mile with vinyl feet using the “Africa-shaped foot” from the Miles for Smiles logo – but it is all coming a little unstuck. The cost of 350 vinyl feet was quoted at £4,314.80! We need less feet, or smaller feet – or to change the plan altogether! I am looking at the possibility of using simple, round Miles for Smiles “smiles” instead of feet - on the basis that they might be cheaper to produce in numbers – and might be more sellable as mementos to recoup the cost.
